There is no need, as you can use a secondary class for a rez if you want one to use more than once without a Morale Boost. Balance is based on Rez Sig, and adding reusable rez for ALL classes would make MAJOR changes in PvP and GvG. Besides, most of your skills were bad. Very bad.

[skill]death pact signet[/skill] is kinda easy to have around. As is [skill]flesh of my flesh[/skill]

/notsigned. If the warrior is having to rez a bunch of people, you have just had an epic /fail. Don't try to add skills to make up for bad playing.

They already did that with pve-only skills.

You mean PVE-only title skills?

If you are going to try to be a jackass, at least try to be creative, and not post something that can be easily rebutted.

I'm not sure why you felt the need to try to insult me, nor do I care. You're also completely off-topic.

Of course my post was ridiculous if you take it seriously, and it's also easily rebutted. You don't even have to bother with PvE-only skills, actually: characters in Guild Wars have two professions for a reason. To reinforce their strengths, compensate for their weaknesses , or to combine their abilities to create a build that neither profession could acheive alone. Any character is free to take one of the secondaries that has a resurrection skill, or use res sig or rebirth sig if their build doesn't allow for it.

The OP ignores this dual class system, res sig, and the sunspear rebirth sig, and instead suggests that the 7 other classes without a resurrection skill be given one in their profession. I don't think that is a terribly good idea, so I made an equally absurd suggestion that ignores the dual class system, and PvE skills.

I hope this post is simple enough to understand, now.

i'm actually /signed on this. if every class had some form of hard rez i could finally stop playing it safe and going monk as secondary. Rez signet annoys me.

/Mo, /Rt, /P, and http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Scroll_of_Resurrection

Or, http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Powerstone_of_Courage to recharge your res sigs, and remove DP in one fell swoop.

For the reason that it would be too hard to balance, and that the suggested skills show about as large a part of the OP's mind is blank as the white of his avatar...

However it does raise the idea, of a PvE hard rez for some professions that lack them now.
Not warriors, rangers or elles, they are damage dealers, but support professions might have a point in a hard rez to amplify their supportive abilities.

Paragons got one with [skill=text]Signet of Return[/skill], thats not even PvE and attached to a profession and attribute that doesn't have the slightest to do with life or death, lore wise; unlike healing prayers and restoration magic, it seems to just have been kicked on there, because paragons got nerfed too much after beta or something.

Form the soul reaping and pet corpse nerf, I'd say necro's have been nerfed enough too now to get their own rez.
A rez that makes the ally non-fleshy(immune to bleeding, poison and disease) but will have that ally suffer minion degen over time, if they die while affected they don't leave an exploitable corpse but do not suffer a death penalty either.
Like [skill=text]Vengeance[/skill] not a hard rez, but a rez that rezzes the ally long enough to finish the fight, or use their hard rez on another ally.

Er...motivation? It was strong enough healing-wise upon release to actually use paragons as healers, so the signet fits with what the concept of the class used to be (regardless of how bad an idea that turned out to be).

And wtf does soul reaping have to do with whether or not a profession should get a res skill? Necroes still rock PvE; by your argument, mesmers should be able to res the entire team every 5 seconds for 5 energy, because they're so unwanted in PvE.

[skill=text]Light of Dwayna[/skill] I remever EoE teams that had mesmers rez their whole party in 2 or 3 seconds, so I'd say they already can. They [skill=text]Echo[/skill] it too I think.

Although, I wouldn't mind a Necro res. I mean, they are masters of death and corpse exploitation, right? Something like -

Animate Ally 15e 5c 15r (Death Magic) - Spell. Target fallen party member is resurrected with 100% life and 0 energy. For 10 seconds, target has Cracked Armor, Bleeding, and Deep Wound. If target dies again in 10 seconds, a level 1...14 Bone Horror is summoned.

And, if they died in that 10 seconds, they wouldn't get more DP, just like Death Pact Signet. Just an idea I've been throwing around.

Edit: Oops, meant Death Magic, not SR...

/signed only for only the idea of a hard rez
(don't mean that this actually has to happen)

As I don't play much with random people I rarely have a rez with me myself, even if I have a few skills in my skillbar that i use perhaps once or twice per area and even those are only in desperate occasions when I need to buff up to finish off the last enemy.
I like the idea of having a hard rez, but I'll wait and see if it'll ever happen or not. I'm all fine with my possible monk/rit/para rezzes for now... (if I bother to equip them).

They could also add a PvE-only hard ress...

It could be linked to Lightbringer title...
It could be a ersion of Rebirth.
